Insight Youth Outreach Blessings is led by educators, mentors, professionals, and community leaders who know these neighborhoods and care deeply about the children growing up in them. Many of our team members have lived, learned, worked, and served in Maywood, Broadview, and the surrounding communities for years, bringing both personal connection and professional experience to the mission.
Khalil O’Banner, Assistant Director
With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership as a Clinical Care Manager, Khalil brings strong expertise in program coordination, operations, and strategic oversight. His background helps ensure Insight’s programs remain organized, sustainable, and focused on supporting families across Maywood, Broadview, and the surrounding Proviso communities.
Crystal P. Sherrill, Secretary
As Director of Operational Strategies with more than 20 years of experience in organizational leadership, system refinement, and strategic planning, Crystal provides structure and administrative guidance that strengthens Insight’s programs and its long-term impact on the children and families it serves. Her role is to ensure Insight operates with excellence when serving our communities.
Valencia Faulkner, Health Advisor
As a Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience, Valencia provides our team with valuable guidance on health initiatives, program safety, and wellness education, all of which support Insight’s commitment to helping children build healthy habits that last beyond the summer months. Her support ensures our efforts connect to our youth’s long-term wellness.
Trevor Black, Community Outreach Coordinator
Through his work in entrepreneurship and community engagement, Trevor supports outreach efforts and strengthens partnerships that help expand awareness of Insight Youth Outreach Blessings’ programs and connect more families to opportunities that support their children’s growth and well-being.
Victor Dubois, Community Liaison
Alongside his service with the United States Postal Service, Victor brings more than 20 years of coaching and mentorship experience to Insight Youth Outreach Blessings. His leadership helps strengthen relationships with families and encourages youth participation in programs that promote confidence, discipline, and connection.
